These three windows were purchased by Mrs. J.N. Pritchard. St. Gabriel was in memory of Colonel John N. Pritchard, her deceased husband. The windows on each side were dedicated to her son, Nikolas W. Pritchard and her grandson, John N. Pritchard.
| In August of 1887, the church's name was changed from
St. John's Church to our present name of St. Gabriel's Episcopal
Church in honor of the saint shown in the stained glass window that is
located on the east wall above the altar.
