The Daughters of the King is an Order for women in the Episcopal Church with Chapters in the Roman Catholic Church and in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Daughters are dedicated to prayer and service For Christ's Sake.

For more information about the DOK organization, visit their website @ www.dok-national.org

At St. Gabriel's we have a very active Chapter of the Daughter's of the King (DOK).
Daughters may be recognized by the distinctive cross each member wears.
These women undertake a Rule of Life to offer service, evangelism, and daily prayer.

Any member of the Daughters of the King will accept your request for prayer for yourself or for others.  A form for prayer request along with a box in which to place it is provided in the Parrish Hall near the South entrance door.

Our members grow together through monthly studies and the guidance of their Rector.
We work together on a wide range of activities where needs occur in the Church or the Parrish.
Through work and prayer the Daughters develop a special relationship of sisterhood.

Junior Daughters of the King

We have recently started junior members of  DOK. The young ladies are ages12 to 18 who pledge themselves to daily prayer, service and personal evangelism. They have taken on two service projects so far. They are putting the Sunday bulletins together for our church secretary, each week and serving as Aecolytes  at the Altar each Sunday at the 10:00A.M. service. These girls have been a true blessing to us and we appreciate their faithfulness in prayer and service. If you are interested in joining please contact Linda Pankey. Below is a picture of these outstanding girls.
